Yeah! You can only get suncup for blackberries, i even went to the forest first and couldn't get blackberries, and when I try to get the lily, it's just suncup!
I was able to have kits with my mate, Redwood (though it was a tad glitchy and temporarily flitted to another character who was male? I don’t know but we were still able to have kits, and I was playing as a female.)
It's kid-friendly. I wouldn't say it's "rated G" since there's bullying (Redwoodpaw my beloved), death, and fighting, but tbh I don't think 6-year-olds would be playing Itch games anyway
What do you do after Sunstar dies and Sandstar becomes leader? (i'm guessing it's not coded in yet, but I see a lot of other people dealing with this issue so I wanted an official answer)

I think that their usually at you hight
I mostly find them on the ground, often in front of the bosses or some other fightable NPC in the map

You can't get the lily. When you try to pick it up, you get the suncup if you visted Death Valley last, or blackberries if you visit the forest last.
