You gotta defeat all of the bosses in the different areas to get clues that point to the murderer. I don't wanna spoil stuff if you wanna find out yourself.
For now, the most that you can do after Sandstar becomes leader is to basically just talk to anyone for any dialogue that you haven't seen since there's nothing very important to do after Sandstar becomes leader.
Get enough health and damage by fighting snakes, fish, and bears in the different areas till you're strong enough to fight each boss. I usually try to one-shot a fish before fighting Snake (the cat). Then move onto fighting Thunder since Mystic is the toughest boss in the game right now.

I figured out how to exile Sandstripe but when Limestone and Sandstripe take over , does the game end for now? Btw Mossy, Limestone loses his face stripes when he's on the leader rock! XD

When you go to talk to Limestone in Death Valley, he will tell you that Sandstripe basically didn't deserve to be exiled and that you should return back to camp. By then, Sandstripe becomes leader.

also found a glitch (mistake? idk) In the family tree, your mom's name is displayed as Faunaflower and goldenfleck says floraflower when you are a kit and you first talk to her.
Talk to the med cat, get the items from their den, inspect ashfall's body, talk to sunstar, use the map to go to new places, fight all the bosses, talk to sunstar again

I mean, I wouldn't say that opal is op op, but it is probably the best thing you can get as a med cat app. The best scrap that I've gotten from using the pan is topaz which times your damage by 8.0
No, all of the other animals show up fine like the snakes and the bears but the fish don't. They're stuck in what they look like when you're blind and aren't hovering over them so I assume that this is a glitch.

I don't know if this is a bug but when your tail is next to the den entrance and you hover over it with your mouse, then your tail becomes white too

you can also get opal thats 5x damage i think its pretty rare though
Some rarer scraps are amethyst which multiplies your damage by 7.0 and topaz which multiplies your damage by 8.0

I didn't test stuff after adding all the blind things, so that's probably why. I'll get on that
