Bubbleheart's Destiny: Chapter 6

Bubbleheart was terrified, the clans were on the brink of war, at the last gathering half a moon ago, Blackstar threatened the clans, making Onestar threaten Firestar, and so on. Bubbleheart had an idea, at the next gathering, she was going to try to make peace between the clans, she always had a way with words.

"Hey.. Finblade, can I ask you something?" she asked

"Sure, Bubbleheart! You can ask me anything!" he replied

"I, well, I think at the next gathering I'm going to try to make peace with the clans, I always had a way with words."

Finblade gasped, but she was right, "I think it'll work, tell Oakheart, she knows a lot about peacemaking, Birchstar is a leader, she won't know, she just wants to protect her clan, and we are threatened, meaning she will go to war."

"Great idea, Finblade." she padded over to Oakheart

"Oh, hey Bubbleheart!" Oakheart mewed cheerfully

"Hey, may I speak with you... alone?" Bubbleheart inquired

"Of course, Bubbleheart! What is it?" Oakheart replied

"Well... you know the ongoing tension between the clans? she mewed

"Yes, I am well aware, I don't think it's reasonable, but warriors. Uh, sorry, no offense." Oakheart mewed hastily

"I agree, I'm thinking of trying to stop it, and try to reason with the clans at the next gathering." she mewed

Oakheart gasped, "Bridge the divided shores..." she muttered to herself. "I... need to tell you something, it's time."

"Time? Time for what?" Bubbleheart was confused

"On the night of the full moon, I received a prophecy. 'Born of the gentle flow and nurtured by the moon’s caress, bubbles shall rise as the river’s envoy to bridge the divided shores.' I knew it meant you, but I never told you, I never thought of it. I just remembered, and this is what the prophecy means!" She meowed excitedly

"What? What does it mean?" Bubbleheart said

"You! Bridge the divided shores! You will stop the battle!" Oakheart said, as if it was clear as day

Now it was Bubbleheart's turn to gasp, "It's destiny..."

RiverClan arrived at the gathering, Bubbleheart tasted the air, tension was clearly high, but it was time. "B-B-Birchstar, may I speak, before the gathering begins?"

Birchstar was confused, it wasn't normal for a warrior to speak at a gathering, but she allowed it.

As the rest of the clans got there, Birchstar announced to the other leaders that Bubbleheart had something important to say, and as they started, she motioned with her tail that it was Bubbleheart's time.

"I bring an important message. It is not time for war, nor battle. We need to come together, it depends on the safety of not just us warriors, but the warriors after us, and after them, and on, for generations. This battle, if we don't stop it, will be the worst we've ever seen, worse than the great battle, worse than all of our battles combined. We need to stop this, NOW." as she finished, a shooting star flew across the sky. StarClan was on her side, and as the Clans saw this shooting star, they knew that she was speaking for StarClan, not of her own accord.

"I- What? I never thought of any of that..." Bubbleheart said, then she realized: StarClan was speaking through her, guiding her words, and her pawsteps.

Finblade padded up to Bubbleheart, "Y-you were amazing.."

The gathering continued like a normal gathering after that.

SORRY I HAVEN'T WROTE A CHAPTER IN A WHILE- I've been having a block of any creativity irl, just not wanting to do it. Ever since summer began, I haven't wanted to read, draw, write, anything. So this is nice to add, btw this is the second to final chapter. (DON'T WORRY I HAVE A NEW IDEA PLANNED FOR AFTERWARDS) The next chapter is going to be mostly like what happened in the future, and a beginning of the next book.
